2. Description of Service

Carteo provides a digital menu platform that allows restaurants to create, manage, and display digital menus to their customers. Our Service includes menu creation tools, QR code generation, and analytics features.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including menu items, images, and descriptions. By uploading content, you grant Carteo a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carteo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
